Link building is, besides your page title, the most important facet of PR. Growing a site's page rank is hard work, but there are tools that make it easier. Consider each of these as you take on the tall task that is Search Engine Optimization.

SEO optimization moves at about the same speed as anything else on the internet -- blindingly fast! Years ago you could simply add your url manually to a few directories or place your url on a few blogs and wham, up you'd fly to the top of whatever PR you wanted. But those days are long gone.

Today you need, if you're looking to to grow your page rank, to need to get those backlinks built. And you basically have two options. You can hire out the work through different outsourcing sites -- elance being one of them -- or you can select an automation device to help you with the work.

Side-by-side Comparison of Link Building Software:

Below are links to three sites I use for link building. I use each of them for different reasons, and with different results. Link building is not a pure science; there are a few reasons as to why we can't compare the different link building approaches link for link. The key is to try to stay as 'white hat' as possible and grow your links in a natural seeming way. The link building software programs below represent the best of what's around. Good luck, and see you at the top!

Link Building Program Program Features Review

SubmitEaze is without a doubt the program I start all my SEO building. There is plenty of talk amongst the webmasters that directories no longer carry the link building value that they once did. I'm not here to dispute this claim. I agree. That said directories do offer one way links, and if you could potentially submit to a thousand free directories in a natural fashion, which is what SubmitEasze provides, and do it for under $80, then it's worth doing. And it will grow your rank. This can't be denied.
.
One caveat: this program does not do ALL the work for you and submit to thousands of directories with varied submission and description information. The program does about 90% of the work. You still need to enter the dreaded CAPTCHAs. So your submission process basically takes as long as it takes you to type a CAPTCHA and press enter.

BookmarkingDemon is a monster of a program. Social bookmarking networks have quickly grown into mainstays within the industry. Submitting to these manually is not as difficult as submitting to directories, but if you manage more than two sites, and you provide new content regularly to your sites, you could easily waste a good hour or so a day submitting to these social bookmarking sites. This would be an absolute waste of time. For a nominal ONE TIME FEE, and not the monthly fees that BookmarkingDemon's competitors offer, you could submit to all of these sites without hastle.
BookmarkingDemon has given webmasters a product that is a challenge not to purchase. I can imagine a webmaster simply outsourcing all directory submissions and avoiding the purchase of SubmitEaze. It makes no financial sense to submit to all the social bookmarking sites on your own. Social bookmarking can not be overlooked in your attempt to grow your PR. BookmarkingDemon needs to be considered part of your arsenal if you are a content creator.

Articles are a fantastic way to grow healthy one-way links to your sites. Of course the time and energy it takes to put these articles together can frustrate just about anyone. And of course, there's the submission process, which is another headache altogether. Personally, I commit to an article a week per site, and for months I would simply add an article to my ONE ezine page. But then I found this program, and realized I could create variations of the same article and submit this one article in all its variations to over 700 article directories. You can imagine how my link creation has exploded since applying this program.
Article creation is a task that isn't for everyone. Many webmasters figure the time to configure articles and write the articles, and then check the articles against copyspace, etc. is too much to warrant the growth of links. I personally find it relatively easy to do. I'm organized to the point that I do one per week and, once submitted in all its various forms, feel the link growth well worth the headache that it article creation. If articles are part of your link building approach, consider Article Submitter to help with the work.
